Rick Flynn, founder and managing partner of FFO, is an international authority on the family office space. With over three decades of experience as a multi-family office executive and business manager, Rick has helped transform the sector by designing and implementing outsourced solutions that bridge clients’ financial and lifestyle objectives.
Rick specializes in working with entrepreneurs, executives, athletes, artists, and entertainers – as well as their professional advisory teams – to execute customized advanced planning, wealth enhancement, and asset protection strategies that build fortunes and safeguard legacies. As part of the innovative hub and spoke approach he helped forge, Rick manages and integrates all aspects of clients’ personal financial management for optimal efficiency.
Rick is frequently featured as a speaker at seminars and conferences related to wealth and business management for high-net-worth individuals. He has also co-authored four books on the multi-family office sector and the unique strategic benefits of the organizational model.
Prior to founding FFO, Rick served as principal-in-charge of the Family Office Group at Rothstein Kass and as chief operating officer of a Nasdaq small cap entertainment company. He studied at the London School of Economics, received his Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of William and Mary. Rick is a licensed attorney in the state of New York.
